I entreat any composers who wish to have free hosting of their work to send me an email at elemmon@opensourcemusic.org and I would be happy to post them up here for you!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\n<!--adsense--><br \/>\n<strong>Preludes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These preludes are out of order because I eventually intend to write twenty-six of them when I am so inspired.\u00a0 The reason that they are numbered in an non &#8211; chronological fashion is that each major key and (then subsequently its relative minor) are grouped in an ascending fashion starting on C.\u00a0 Eventually B major will be Prelude No. 23 and its relative minor, g# minor, No. 24.\u00a0 The reason that I have listed up to 26 is that because of the additional pitch organizations in the 20th century, I thought that an atonal prelude and a twelve-tone prelude should be warranted along side the principal keys that Bach, Chopin and eventually Shostakovitch used.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/opensourcemusic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/prelude-no-2-in-a-minor.pdf\">Prelude No. 2 in A Minor<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/opensourcemusic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/prelude-no-9-in-e-major.pdf\">Prelude No. 9 In E Major<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/opensourcemusic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/prelude-no-10-in-c-minor.pdf\">Prelude No. 10 in C# Minor<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/opensourcemusic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/prelude-no-26-in-12-tone.pdf\">Prelude No 26 in 0123456789TE<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Viola Sonata No. 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This little sonata is actually kind of tough to play but if the swagger is right, the audience is sure to get a kick out of it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/opensourcemusic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/violasonatano1.pdf\">Viola Sonata No. 1<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a duet for violin and viola, it is called &#8220;7&#8221; because I made a play on the designated pitch-class for a perfect fifth.\u00a0 When you play or look over the score, it&#8217;ll become apparant that the number 7 and its inversion in pitch-class world (5, the perfect 4th) are a big deal.\u00a0 The piece is a suite and most of the movements are styled after dances.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/opensourcemusic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/Seven.pdf\">The Duet: &#8220;7&#8221;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To make an easy update on content, I am happily posting most of my complete, original compositions for the general public to download and enjoy.
